Hello Dear friends!
It has been a while. Here’s a new message from our beloved Agnes.
It’s amazing that our help comes from the Lord. – 7.18.12
Psalm 124:1: “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, now may Israel say;
2: If [it had not been] the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
3: Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
4: Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
5: Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
6: Blessed [be] the Lord, who hath not given us [as] a prey to their teeth.
7: Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
8: Our help [is] in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”
God is ready to do some mighty things in our lives. We need to let Him do it. Move out of the way and let Him work. I have felt a strange stirring of the Holy Spirit. The things He has purposed to do are not the things we have purposed to do. How He is going to work isn’t the way we think He will do it. We wait upon him because He is doing great and mighty things.
What the Lord is doing moment by moment is awesome. Father, we praise you; we thank you for the mighty work of your hands. We thank you for the miracle that you are doing in every one of our lives. We thank you for the miracle of your word. You said as we give the word, the signs will follow. So Lord, this night give to us the word you have for us and cause us to know you have purposed a purpose for each us that can’t be defeated as long as “We walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ… cleanseth us from all sin.”
We thank you Father, for the mercy of the Lord and for the blood covering of Jesus. This night we thank you for this word which you will hide in our hearts that we might know you and follow you. Give us that which our hearts cry for tonight, that we might draw near to you, that you might draw near to us. We thank you for the living word and the impartation of this word which you will give to us. We magnify your name and we give you glory and praise. We thank you for each one in the meeting tonight. Impart the very thing we have need of and we give you praise for it, in your wonderful name, Jesus. Amen, our God is mighty.
Malachi 3:1: “Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.
2: But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he [is] like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:
3: And he shall sit [as] a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.
4: Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
5: And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in [his] wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger [from his right], and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts.
6: For I [am] the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”
After the Lord has purged us then He’s going to bring forth a spiritual warfare against the evil. He’s preparing us for he is coming into His temple and purging it and making it ready so that He can use us by His spirit to pull down the strongholds of the enemy and do spiritual warfare against the evil and bring about the glory of the Lord, in the presence of the Lord. God has called us in this hour to allow Him to transform our lives.
We have had some heavy dealings of the Lord on us here, everybody has, because God wants to purify us and purge us so that he can fill us with His glory and His spirit; so that when he sends us out among people we’ll be able to pull down the strongholds of the enemy. Then He says in the 4th chapter of Malachi:
2: “But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3: And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do [this], saith the Lord of hosts.”
We are in that hour and we do not realize that when the Lord is saying He is coming into our temple, it’s not to take us away but to use us. What are we going to do? We are going to grow up very fast. Some of you are growing up fast, for what purpose? It’s because He’s coming into our temple with healing in His wings. Verse three says: “And ye shall tread down the wicked;”
Tonight, I wonder if we realize how much God wants to put inside of us when He comes in to take over. The Lord is God, there’s nothing too hard for Him to do. He said He wouldn’t move by the wise and the prudent, but He would do it among the common man. Thank you God! Jesus prayed a prayer for us and the time for the fulfillment of that prayer is today. The 17th chapter of St. John brings us into that place in Him so that His spirit can rule and reign in our lives; not to take us to heaven, but to use us here. Sometimes we think we are going off to heaven but God says, “Wait a minute, I’m not finished with the work on earth.”
First He has to do the work on us, then fill us with His anointing and glory and send us where he would have us to go. We’re not going in our own strength we’re going in His, not of our own purpose or for our own glory; but for His. Jesus said to the Father, “I finished the work you gave me to do. Lord, I pray, give me the glory I had before so that I can give it to them”.
Why is He working so hard on us? So that He can fill us with His glory and His spirit, so that when it’s time for us to go, we will be ready to go. It’s by His spirit that it is going to be done and not by our ability. He said in John 17:22, “And the glory that you have given me, I give to them, that they may be one even as we are one.” I know God is doing something very mighty in this place. I can feel it stirring inside. I know one thing, we have to arise and let Him do what He wants us to do.
I’m glad to hear the children coming forth and the young people praying for one another. I want to tell you what I felt Sunday morning when Brother Hanna prayed for all of you and anointed you with oil. I felt the Lord said to me its time for them to arise and take their place in this ministry. The leaders here, besides me, are to quit sitting in the back and letting others come and do it. They need to arise and not only be doing these things; but training others to be those leaders of the young people in the way the Lord would have them to go. The way we learned this, we let the Holy Spirit do it; we have to supervise it, in that we keep the guidelines of the Holy Spirit, because these young people don’t know these guidelines. We have to help them so they don’t act too religious or too proud or too excited. We have to hold the reigns, not to hinder, but to encourage them.
Jesus was praying for all of us as well as His disciples:
Verse 21: “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22: And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them;”
There are two things I believe, which are very important. We believe Jesus is going to work; but when He puts His glory inside of us something is going to happen in us. All at once we have a knowing, not a boastful knowing, but we know because of His glory inside of us; we know that He’s making us one in the spirit. We know that He’s bringing us into the place where: “…the glory I gave them that they maybe one even as we are one.”
23: “I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
24: Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25: O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.”
Does everybody know that He is God?
26: “And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare [it]: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.”
That the world may know what is going to happen. Let me tell you what is going to happen. Things are happening in this world right now that no man can explain. God is pouring out His spirit upon the heathen that do not know anything about Jesus. He’s pouring it out upon them so they will not only believe, but they will know the glory of the Lord has come down. He is moving in His glory and He is waiting for us to be filled with that glory, so that we can go forth believing and knowing that He has perfected us. Therefore, we know that we are in Him and He is in us, whereby we are in the Father as He is in the Father.
God has a work that only He can do, but He has to use us to accomplish it. He’s purposed to do it. It’s up to us to allow Him to change our lives so that the Father in us and Jesus in us can reveal to the world the love of God, that these that have no chance to know Jesus will have a chance to know Him. The glory of the Lord has been placed inside of us that we might be one in the spirit. There’s no unity among anybody if they aren’t one in the spirit; the only unity of God is when we are one in the spirit. That’s why we exalt Jesus, that’s why we teach Jesus and not the doctrines of men. The doctrines of men are going to fail, Jesus isn’t going to fail. What He has purposed for us is going to stand. Heaven and earth may pass away, but His word will never pass away. He’s placing in us that living word that we know that God has perfected us in Him.
There’s another scripture that burns in my heart and I realize many times that the church doesn’t realize the perfecting in us. Jesus wants to make us perfect as He is perfect. It’s a big job isn’t it; but not if we allow Him to burn it out? It’s not so bad; it just hurts until your old man is dead. When it’s dead it doesn’t hurt any more. I love this scripture because it tells about God’s love. When He purges us of all these things the only thing that is going to remain is His love. All this other stuff is going to disappear and we will be filled with His mercy, His love, His peace and joy and righteousness. Beloved if God so loved us we should love one another. Turn to 1 John 4:
15: “Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
16: And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
17: Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of
judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”
Everyone thinks they are going to fly away to get it in heaven. Most of the churches believe you have to wait to get to heaven. They do! But that isn’t what the word says.
17: “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”
What a big job He has for us to make Him like He is. The big job is for us to let go. It isn’t hard for Him to clean us out; He burns it out by fire. I read that to you in Malachi. It doesn’t have to last very long. I thought I would literally die one time when He was changing me in a lot of ways. I did! And then I felt better, I found out I wasn’t dead at all. God is manifesting Himself to us in love, and He’s still manifesting His love to the world; but He has to do a perfecting.
Nobody is going to believe you are perfect. Do you know why? That isn’t what God says. “Be ye perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect.” Then he tells us how to be perfect. Present yourself a living sacrifice unto the Lord; your bodies – that means mind, heart and soul, everything about you. Present it to God a living sacrifice then He proceeds to make you perfect in Him.
God’s love is perfect without fear. It doesn’t make demands, it will never fail; but human love will fail. All these things will fall away but His love will never fall away. The spirit of truth will never fail. The lies will pass away, the falsehoods will pass away but the truth will remain. It will be very apparent to us because the lies and falsehoods will be gone and only the truth will come to us.
18: “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”
What He wants to do is take out of us our junk and put His perfect love in its place. If He puts his perfect love in its place then there’s no place for fear, is there? No place for fear if His perfect love is inside of us. Our love is selfish, demanding much of other people; but God’s love isn’t demanding. It’s perfect. It doesn’t even think about the wrong, but feels the compassion to those that speak against us.
God is calling us to perfection. That, only He can do for us; we can’t perfect ourselves. We can only take His word and yield to the word of God and let Him burn it all out and let Him make us as He is. Only Christ can do that! He will and can do it, if we only believe. He will take this life of ours and He will do the miracles we’ll see Him do daily, only believe.
Now He said, “I want to fill you with my glory so that you will know, and the world will know, that I am the son of man, that it is my love that’s in you.” Not the love of the world but God’s love in us. We’re going to go into strange places, we’re going to see strange things; but the Lord is going to bring something we have never witnessed before. We are going to see the evil fall before us. We are going to see us rise in position where the enemy has no control over us. Jesus is moving in the fullness of His love and spirit.
The time has come. The time is here and it is now that we must prepare ourselves by obeying the word and letting the word have its place in our lives and we will not have fear and unbelief. We will arise in that which He has spoken of, that we will not only be made perfect in Him and through Him; but the world is going to know the love of God, because He has made us perfect in His love.
As we were talking today we could see God as He moved in ways that we never thought, then the Lord just gently tells us to do something. He wants to so fine tune us that just with a slight nudge or word we begin doing what He tells us to do. He tries to train us in this place so that we are very sensitive in everything.
I’ve told you what happened when I was in India. I never realized how important it was or what God had done in my own life. But I was traveling from Bombay to Hong Kong to California. I had been ministering in Bombay among Catholic and Hindu people. I had gone to this big corporation in Bombay. There we had ministered to many people and God had healed many. We were ready to come back to America. On the 30th day of August, my flight was to leave the 31st I was at this big corporation and the lawyer of the corporation came into the building. Before they arrived they were telling about His daughter. She had something a problem with her spine. She was probably 16. As I was praying for the superintendent of this company he told me about this young girl who had been to America to get help; but no one could help her. God told me to pray for her. I said to this man, do you think this lawyer would permit me to pray for his daughter? He said, I don’t know; but he said you can ask him. So he walks in the door I told him I had been told about his daughter. I asked if I could pray for her. He said yes and he canceled all of his business that day and said, “I’m going to take Sis. Agnes home with me.”
He took me to his daughter. I walked into that house, I’ve been many places but never did I feel faith like I felt faith in that place. There was an expectancy of something. They had been told that at the end of the month something was going to happen to their daughter she was going to be healed. All I said was I’m not the healer, Jesus is.
I lay my hands on her because Jesus tells me to lay my hands on her. He’s the healer. The Lord had me lay my hands where the deformity was the worst. We prayed for her. Tears ran down her face. I felt the anointing of God on her. The Mother said we aren’t asking God to heal her completely; just that he will stop it so it won’t go any further. As we prayed for her we let her know that we aren’t the healer, only God could do that.
The next day we were traveling to Hong Kong, this family lived in Hong Kong, and they were on the same flight I was on. They wanted to help me with my flight. As we were in the plane with his children and his wife; he said, “May I sit beside you?” I said, “Yes!” He said, “Sis. Agnes, I never met anyone like you in all my life; such love, peace, joy. Tell me about it.”
This came as a shock to me. He was a stranger who had never met me before; but they could see Jesus. Then I realized for the first time back there it wasn’t important who we were or anything about us, except that He could see God’s love, peace and joy in us. My bible was packed away; but the spirit of the Lord began to minister to that man. Every question that he asked me, the spirit of the Lord gave him the answer. I didn’t think a thing about it; but I realized one thing the thing, what God is after in our lives is that His love, peace joy and righteousness be manifested in us.
He said, “What’s your favorite scripture?” I gave him the whole plan of salvation, all the way through. I told him how much the Lord loved him. He said, “Sis. Agnes what’s your favorite scripture?” So I gave him some of my favorite scriptures. He said teach me how to pray. I said, “You pray by the spirit of the Lord” This man was so hungry for the truth that the whole flight we talked all night, while his family slept. I had time the next day to spend with him. He was so hungry. I told him, “Brother, Jesus is going to reveal himself to you in a mighty, mighty way, in His love.” He said, “I hope so.” I said, “God loves you so very much.”
I had dinner with them in their home and he took me to the airport and for a number of years I kept in touch with them. But what I want to say to you tonight, it’s Christ’s love He wants to put in us; so that we can be recognized, no matter where we go in the world, it’s not us but Jesus. It’s His love, His peace and His joy. He has to empty us out so we can fulfill this great and mighty call. ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord, love the Lord with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might, all thy strength.’
You know not one of us can love God out of our human love, we might as well ditch the idea. I’m ready to let God fill us with His love. It’s strange to us, because it’s entirely different from what we’re used to. Can I tell you how different? It gives it very strong in the 13th chapter of Corinthians, but very simply. You see, as long as our human feelings are there we are going to be affected by them; but when we yield to him, there is God’s love. There’s only one way that we can have God’s love and that is through Jesus Christ.
Jesus loves the Father. The word says, ‘Jesus in us and us in Jesus.’ So it’s the love of the Father that they will see. So Jesus says, ‘Come on lets be one together in the Father, so the world out there can believe.’ He said, ‘I’m going to fill you with my glory. I’ve filled you with my love now I’m going to fill you with my glory’, so the world out there can know who Jesus is. It isn’t who we are. It’s who He is and what we will let Him do for us. It’s strange because your feelings aren’t going to be the same. You’re not going to be touchy; you’re not going to expect people to treat you a certain way. You’re going to expect to love them as they are. You’re going to expect God to put in you something that’s going to overlook every wrong word said. His love is going to hold us in place.
I was shocked when this happened to me and then I realized that He was telling me something very important. It has to be Jesus! It has to be His love in us that is going to show the world who Jesus is. He’s making us as He is tonight. With the hurts and the ouches and the things we have to say. They won’t hurt love. The words will soon pass away and His love will remain will and never pass away. To me it’s awesome. Even the wicked are going to pass away; but those that fear His name are going to rise up and take dominion and authority over the enemy. It’s going to be ashes under their feet.
Let us arise and realize, all the things that were so important, aren’t that important. The most important thing is to let Jesus come in with His love. He said, ‘Love the Lord with all thy heart, soul, mind and thy strength and then love your neighbor as yourself.’ This love will make you perfect. It doesn’t matter what anybody says. He is going to make us perfect, ‘in Him and He in us’. It depends on us how quickly we let Him do it.
We are all here being trained by the spirit of the Lord. It’s very awesome in His presence and it’s going to get better as we relinquish our flesh and let the spirit of the Lord take its place. Something truly wonderful is happening to us. Truly wonderful, if we will allow Him to have His way in our lives; if only we allow His love to be perfected in us, He will make us perfect in Him. In that day when we stand before Him, we will not stand there in fear; but we’ll stand in His love, knowing that love of Christ. Christ in us, is going to enable us to stand in that day. He’s made us as He is, in His likeness and image. He’s the potter and we’re the clay. He’s making us as He is.
I pray tonight that we will realize the surrendering to our life is very vital, not just the way we want it, but the way God wants it. The first commandment will be totally fulfilled through Jesus Christ that we might go out into this world and pour out His love to a dying world. The Lord has purposed for us to be filled with His love, peace and joy.
In Zephaniah 3: 17 it says: “The LORD thy God in the midst of thee [is] mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.” That’s the Lord, that’s not us doing it, that’s God doing it. Isn’t that wonderful to think that we can get in such a place with God, where He’s going sing to us. Joy over us, rejoice over us with joy and rest in His love. Why is He going to rest in His love? He’s calling us into His rest and as we enter into His rest, His love in us, is going to cause us to rest. The very thing He’s doing in our lives, He will do with joy. Wonder what it means to him when we praise Him by the spirit of the Lord? He’s going to rejoice over us with joy. He will rest in His love and joy over thee with singing. You believe that? That’s what His word says.
I was traveling to Canada and I read that verse and I got so excited. I said, “You’ll sing to me? He said, “You have joy because of me. You’re rejoicing because of me. You’ve entered into my rest because I’ve entered into your rest.” That’s what He’s saying. He’s resting in His love. ‘God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever should not perish but have everlasting life.’ I think it is the most exciting thing in the world to know how God feels about us, when we surrender all to Him, not telling Him what to do. This glorious presence of our God, telling us how much He loves us, telling how much it means and how much joy He has in us.
I remember when we had the crusade and the spirit of the Lord came in our midst. I felt like I wanted to arise and go with Him. I was ready to rise and go on that horse; jubilant, rejoicing because the Lord was there. Think what it means when we give our all to Him and we don’t hold anything back. He said, “I’m going to cause you to arise and my spirit is going to take you to the ends of the earth. You are going to defeat the wicked. You’re going to destroy the principalities and powers of evil. I’m going to rest in my love. You’ll have my peace, my rest, my love and joy.”
His love in us, His joy in us, can respond to the joy of the Father with the harmony and the music in heaven. It’s God in us, bringing us forth with this glorious gospel, that we might be filled with the fullness of our God; that He might sing to us, that His joy might cause us to run over with the joy of His salvation.
I was in the hospital in 1993 with bronchial pneumonia. The doctors gave me up. I told Annella the Lord is going to come and speak to me a 3 in the morning. She can tell you better than I can. I don’t know what happened. I only know that He came. The verse He gave me tonight, is the verse He gave me then. “All hail the power of Jesus name let angels prostrate fall, and crown Him Lord of Hosts.” The devil came to snatch my life and every time he came to snatch my life, Jesus came with this word, “The Lord in the midst of thee is mighty. He will save, He will rejoice over thee with singing. He will save, He will rest over thee with joy and He will rest in His love. He will joy over thee with singing.” I had no pain. Jesus came!
Annella said that 3 minutes after 3 am is when they called the family. The Lord had come to fight, because it wasn’t His time for me to go. It was the devils time, so the devil came to snatch me; but God said, “No! Your work isn’t finished.” After that I got a prophecy saying I’d live.
I’m saying what a mighty God we serve tonight. We need to commit our lives to Him and let Him sing and joy over us; let him rejoice in His love. How great is our God and how much He loves us tonight. We just have to quit fighting. He’s going to do us good. What a mighty God we have.
Zephaniah 3: 14 says, “Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all thy heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.
15: The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, [even] the LORD, [is] in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.
16: In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: [and to] Zion, Let not thine hands be slack.
17: The LORD thy God in the midst of thee [is] mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
18: I will gather [them that are] sorrowful for the solemn assembly, [who] are of thee, [to whom] the reproach of it [was] a burden.
19: Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.
20: At that time will I bring you [again], even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.
The old devil is getting defeated. God has turned it for all of us. We need to press in to see how wonderful it is for Him to sing to us, to rejoice over us; because we have accepted His Son and our lives are given to Him.
Thank You Jesus for your word. How honored we are, Lord, to have your love, rest, peace, joy and holiness. Thank you for presence. How awesome are your ways. We honor you; we give you glory and thank you for this land and for what you would have us to do. Give us that direction God, with every direction, let it be done the way you want it to be done. Let us rest in your love until we can feel your presence; let your blessings come let the blessings come in us. We praise you, Lord, in your wonderful name we pray. Let us walk in the fullness of your love. Send us to the heathen that are in the valley of decision. Bless these people with your peace. We give you glory, in Jesus name. Amen.
