Hello family! We are getting very near to our 61st Anniversary and we feel the Lord has something special in store for our family this upcoming year. Every day until October 15, we will be posting a message (or two!)  from Agnes, and on the last day, it will be our 61st message! We are so thankful to what He has done, His faithfulness towards us all these years and what His will for us in the future will be. Praise God! Today we will start off with two message. This is the first. We pray this word ministers to you and those you love.

“Blessed Is The Man The Lord Chooses”

We praise and thank you for this day you have given to us. We rejoice and thank you for every provision. Thank you for your love and mercy and for your forgiveness and healing. We are grateful for your deliverance out of the hand of the enemy. We realize it is you that has done it all. In Jesus name, amen.

Psalms 65:1 “Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed.

2 “O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.

3 “Iniquities prevail against me: [as for] our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away. 4 “Blessed [is the man whom] thou choosest, and causest to approach [unto thee, that] he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, [even] of thy holy temple.

5 “[By] terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation;

[who art] the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off [upon] the sea:

6 “Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; [being] girded with power:

7 “Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.

8 “They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest

the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.

9 “Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, [which] is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.

10 “Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.

11 “Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.

12 “They drop [upon] the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.

13 “The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.

Blessed is the man God chooses, and causes to approach Him. We will be satisfied with the goodness of His house. God has called us to praise Him. I really know that we have to love him with all our heart or our praises mean nothing. It’s like sounding brass or a tingling cymbal unless we are praising Him with our whole heart.   God has called us to worship Him; He has called us to be a servant to Him and to please Him. Do you know what it means to be a servant? In other countries they know more about it than we do here; because in other countries they have servants.

We were in Africa and I was staying in this minister’s home and they had a little boy who was helping them do everything. We were having ACE classes and we took their little servant boy to classes with us. We didn’t know any better and they weren’t so happy with us; because he was a servant.

What it means to the Lord is so important. Here He became a servant to us. He gave up everything that He had in heaven to walk on this earth, without a home of His own; without a place to lay His head. He came to serve! Today, He still is a servant, at the right hand of the Father, to intercede for us.

How difficult it is for us to remember how much He loves us and the price He paid for us to become sons of God. If we get proud with it or arrogant with it, we lose that preciousness with God. We lose so much.

I understand how we’ve divided the word of God in such a manner that if you are a servant you are not worth much. But Jesus became that servant for us; He became the servant of man for us that we might be able to praise Him and worship Him with all heart and soul and mind and all that is within us. His plan for our life is to bring forth His love within us; removing all these things that are contrary to His love.

He’s given us of Himself. God didn’t trust man again to do anything. He sent His Son, into the world, to do everything. If only we believe! He is the true vine.

If we are in Him, then we are His branches. The fruit is His fruit, it’s not ours and we can’t brag of what we have. We can only brag in Jesus for He is the provider. If we can only understand how much God desired to have a people that would worship and love Him; a people to obey and praise Him.

You know when you don’t praise children for what they do, they can get pretty ornery. A lot of times we forget to praise them. We like to see some good things out of them. Maybe if we praise them more, we’d have better things out of them. Let’s start praising them for the good things that they do.

Sometimes we are like children with the Lord. We want our own way and we pout if we don’t get it. Sometimes we even have our tantrums and the Lord remembers that we are children. He has to give us a spanking every once in a while to remind us that He’s in charge. So sometimes, with our children, we have to spank them to remind them that they aren’t in charge.

God has His discipline! Oh, how wonderful it is when we have learned His discipline. Then we are quick to answer, “Yes, Lord, we will praise and thank you and give you the glory for everything we have.” Some of you have been blessed here, since you were born, to be in the house of the Lord. Some of you don’t appreciate it; but I pray God will give you an appreciation for everything that God has given you in this place.

11 “Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.

12 “They drop [upon] the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.”

One time I was traveling down the highway in Louisiana, just before the Lord sent me to Israel. As we were riding along the presence of the Lord filled the car and He reminded me of a scripture where the trees clapped their hands. As we rode down this beautiful highway there were beautiful trees on all sides. The Spirit of the Lord just filled that car and all at once I became aware that the trees were singing and clapping their hands to the Lord for miles and miles, as we went down that highway.

When the Lord sent me to Porto Rica and I was on the other American islands. I didn’t know anything about why He sent me. Earlier I was in a meeting in Miami where I met a woman from Porto Rica who gave me her address. The Lord said, “This is your contact for the Caribbean Islands.” Her husband was working for the big Rockefeller Hotel in Porto Rica. Three years later the Lord said it was time for me to go there and that I was going to go to 3 islands.

When I was on 700 Club someone in Rochester, New York heard me and gives me a call. She had a friend in campgrounds in Virginia who was a prophet of the Lord and she talks to this friend about me.

I didn’t know why I was going; but she said God was sending me and that there’s a lady down there named Sally Olson that He wants you to meet. There are 3 islands there and that God wants you visit. There is a ship on one of these islands and He wants you to visit this ship. He also told me other people I was to meet on those islands.

When we arrived I asked my friend if she knew anyone that had a boat on St. Thomas Island; she did and they are friends of hers. The man that was working for Rockefeller Hotel took me on their little airplane to St. Thomas Island and we went onto the boat. We discovered why God sent us there; we met a young man on this boat who took me over these islands. When I ministered to him he said that it wasn’t me that was talking to him. He said that he heard his Baptist missionary speaking to him.

Then I realized this young man knew all the places of witchcraft all over the island. The Lord wanted me to go with this man to pray over all these places of witchcraft. So we did over the whole island. Everywhere the witchcraft was, we prayed.

All at once we became aware something was happening to the trees and bushes. They were being set free. As the Spirit of the Lord moved over these islands; He was releasing them from the curse of witchcraft. He took me to 3 islands! We had meetings and prayed for many on St. Thomas Island.

Somebody came to me and said, “I feel you need to go to St. John’s Island.” When we got to St. John’s Island there was a man with a jeep who takes me over the whole island. We pray in the Spirit to roll back the witchcraft; and again we felt the release of the vegetation. We felt God’s Spirit setting them free.

Then we came back on the ship and the lady told me that I must go to St. Troy Island. Those were the 3 islands the Lord said I was to go to.

I met with this family and the Lord delivered them from witchcraft and set them free. I was there over the night and the next day then I took a plane from there to Porto Rico where I met Sally Olson. I had a brother that was in the Navy and He had a burden for the orphan children of Porto Rica and He wrote me a letter asked me to please pray for these little orphans because they don’t have any place to live. They lived on the streets and ate out of the garbage cans. So I prayed for them that God will help them.

When I met Sally Olson, she worked in the prison and had orphanages. The Lord said to me that this lady was the one He raised up in answer to our prayers. That was why it was so important for me to meet this woman. We met with her at her orphanage and went with her to the prison. We had a wonderful time. We came back to Porto Rica where I met a man with little Bibles. He was giving them to the children and again the Lord moved in a powerful way. Again He showed us the goodness of God.

As we prayed over all 3 of these islands we were very aware that God was doing something very mighty.

When we went to India Brother Joseph met us in Bombay. We were there in the middle of the festivity of lights; the highest Hindu celebration. Br. Joseph wanted to show me Bombay and we get caught in the procession with the idol worshippers. The Lord said to pray in the spirit over both sides of the street. We couldn’t go very fast for there were thousands of people in the streets. The Lord said to pray and He would break the powers of the idols off the minds of the people. So as we were traveling down the streets we became very aware of what God was doing as we began to break the powers off the people.

God has ways of doing things that we don’t really know about. Not only did we go through Bombay like that; but He took us to the tip end of India. So all through India we saw the Lord just rolling back the powers of the enemy, breaking the powers off the minds of the people.      God is moving today and showing us also the miracles of His power through the very simple things that we would do.

Sometimes we are too smart; we’re so wise that we’re going to tell God how to do things. But God says, “Wait a minute, let me show you how to do it; you take some grain to Burma and you give it to the people. I’ll show you how to make that farm for them. When you show them the way I want to do it they will know that I love them.”

So let’s get out of our self this morning and worship the Lord. His ways are not our ways, but what God wants to do with us is to get us out of our ways that He might put within us His ways. It takes some doings; because the hardest thing is to let go of our way. If only we would realize that it’s pretty foolish to think our way is everything. It’s pretty foolish to think we are smarter than God. He said, “Look at the ant you sluggard.”            God, in this hour, is going to turn this world upside down in the simplest ways that we wouldn’t even think about. With His love, peace, joy, righteousness, and holiness He’s going to shake this world. “As surly as I live, saith the Lord, the earth shall be filled with my glory.” Amen.

He wants to get us ready for it by remembering that He has called us. Blessed is the man He chooses. He said He didn’t choose the wise or the prudent. Not many of us here are very learned for God wants His knowledge for us. He wants for us to give of our mind so that His spirit can flow through us. His word says we have the mind of Christ. Some of us don’t want the mind of Christ we want our own way, so the Lord says, “I have chosen you to have the mind of Christ.”

If you will have His mind, you will not walk in your own way; you will not seek your own pleasure and you will not speak your own words. If you allow Him to put His mind in you, you will walk in His way. You are going to please Him and not yourself. You are going to speak His words and not your own.

We need to realize that He became a servant for us, that we might be as He is. He’s still a servant, the Son of Man and He’s still seeking us to hear the Father’s voice. Allow His spirit to be in us that this same mind that’s in Christ, be in us. If He’s in us then He expects us to let Him have charge.

He’s not going to do the wrong thing; but He’s going to change us to be as He is. Christ in us the hope of glory! Christ in us will represent the Father in all things; not in one thing did He do His own will. He walked according to the plan of the Father realizing that His life was not His own. He had come as the servant to man to obey the will of the Father; not to do His own thing. Never did God have a problem with Jesus; because He never lost sight of why He was sent. He never lost sight of the fact that God brought Him to earth to be the savior of the world; to bring man back to the Father. He never allowed anything that the enemy said or did. He won the victory in the wilderness; never once after that did the enemy bring him into subjection. Never once!

They were going to kill him at the beginning of His ministry. In fact, right in His hometown He was saying “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me. This day this scripture is fulfilled in your ears.” They were going to stone him; but He went right out of their midst.

See God has called us and chosen us for His purpose. If you don’t know what His purpose is I want to tell you. None of you are here by accident. God has called you that, in this day, He is raising up a people that He intends to use, with the mind of Christ, to carry out the plan He has for us.

There are 2 things that stand out more than anything else. After He has trained us we are going to be filled with His love and glory, then He is ready to send us out; because the people out there are waiting to know Jesus. In the prayer of Jesus in John 17: “Father, give to me the glory that I had with you in the beginning. Father, the glory that you gave to me I give to them.” He gave it to them that the world might know that Jesus was sent from God.

The world is still waiting, millions of them, and their leaders have refused to let them know God or Christ. He said, “I have chosen you that you may go and be a show forth my love and glory to these nations.” God’s love and glory is going to break through their barriers. God is moving in mighty ways and the heathen are excited about it.

God has chosen a people for Himself, that they may go, representing Him, that His word might be totally fulfilled before He comes again. I want you to know that every part of this book has to be fulfilled before Jesus comes. We’re praying “Oh, Lord, come!” But He can’t come because He has chosen a people to empty themselves and get rid of their ways and allow the mind of Christ to be in them. He has chosen them that they might be filled with His love according to the first commandment of God.

“Hear, O Israel, the Lord thy God is one Lord. Thou shalt love the Lord, thy God, with all thy heart; with all thy soul, all thy mind and all that is within thee.” And love your neighbor as yourself.

This scripture that we have in John 17 says, “Father, make them one even as we are one; I in them and they in me and thou in us that we might be one as we are one.” Make us perfect so that the mind of Christ can have full control of us, so that Jesus in us can perfect us in Himself. It doesn’t say, “Put a little bit there.” It says, “With all your heart, your soul and your mind.” Then we are going to love our neighbor as ourselves.

I know a lot of Christians don’t believe that, but it’s perfect in Him. You will never be perfect to the people around you. They will always find a lot of fault with you. It doesn’t really matter about that. What does matter is that we are perfect, in His love. It’s His love that is going to change the world. He’s chosen us to be that light, through Him, to go and obey Him. Not to go in our own choosing. He chose us, He’s called us, He’s preparing us and He will finish it.

Every child in this place needs to know that God wants them to be here. He chose them to accept the Lord and walk in God’s ways; not in the ways of the world. Every adult: He’s chosen you; then you must let Him train you. You must let Him change you so He can fill you with His love and glory and send you out. “Ask of me and I will give of thee the heathen for thy inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Psalm 2:7 “I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou [art] my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

8 “Ask of me, and I shall give [thee] the heathen [for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession.”

Jesus took possession and He took that inheritance. He took possession and then He commanded us to: “Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance , and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.”

We have a task before us that only God can do. We’ll never do it except we walk the way God tells us to. We will miss it if we want to have our own way and we will miss it if we want our own mind. We will miss it if we don’t hear what He has to say. With the high praises of God in our mouth and a two edge sword in our hand we have the privilege of taking these people for Jesus Christ. It’s up to us to obey Him so that we can be filled with His glory and we can praise Him.

Psalm 149:1 “Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, [and] his praise in the congregation of saints.

2 “Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. 3 “Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

4 “For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. 5 “Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

6 “[Let] the high [praises] of God [be] in their mouth, and a two edged sword in their hand;

7 “To execute vengeance upon the heathen, [and] punishments upon the people;

8 “To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

9 “To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that the Lord chooses.”

This is the privilege God has given to us, today. We need to walk in it and obey it and praise Him. Remember we aren’t doing it, He’s doing it. We can’t do it, but we can yield our life to Him. Let Jesus be Jesus in us and He will change us to make us as He is. This is why He became a servant. We are talking to you about God’s love in us and if His love is in us then something is happening to us.

1st John 4:17 “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”

So it’s God’s love in us that is going to bring us to the place that when we stand before the judgment of God it will only be Jesus in us. We won’t have a fear because we will know as we stand there He has made us as He is. That’s why it’s so important for us to realize what He is saying to us. Jesus prayed that prayer for us: make them one, make them perfect in you that the world might know.

Why is it difficult for the world to acknowledge the church? There’s a little part missing in most of us until God perfects it. Remember, this word has to come to pass exactly the way the Lord says. It is not the way we interrupt it, but according to His word. Jesus said, “Father, make them one, perfect in one; they in me and I in them and thou in us, make us perfect so that the world may know. He gave us His glory. “Father, the glory you gave me, I gave to them.”

Take that glory and love and let Him fill your life with it, until nothing else is there. Then He’s ready to send you. When you stand before Him you will stand there boldly, because He’s made you as He is in this world. It doesn’t say you’ll get that way after you get to heaven; He says He will do it now. He is going to fulfill this word and prayer He prayed for us. For this is the hour for us to be filled with His love and glory.

Allow Him to make us a servant unto Him, not unto man. A servant to Him because we allowed Him to fill us with the love of God and with the glory of God never deviating from God’s plan or purpose; allowing Him to perfect us, even as He is perfect. His love and glory is what He wants in us.

In the New Testament Paul says we go from glory unto glory; but most of the time we don’t know it. We need to realize that His love in us is going to bring us into a relationship with others and His glory in us is going to give Him all the glory for what He is doing. We won’t take the glory, for the glory is His.

He’s sending us out there to a world that doesn’t know Him. His love and glory is going to prevail and the millions that don’t know Him are going to see Him. They are going to desire Him. They are going to yield their lives to Him and when this word is totally fulfilled, every word, then Jesus is going to split that heaven. He is going to come into that heaven to gather us home.

He’s in a hurry and we’re wasting time. We aren’t allowing Him to make us what He wants us to be with His mind and His love and glory. He needs us ready to send to those who don’t know Him. You are called for Him; you are chosen for Him and God is zealous over you; because He wants perfect obedience. He wants to use us for the sake of the kingdom; for the revelation of Jesus Christ that the world out there might know who Jesus is.

Father, we praise you and thank you for this word you have poured and imparted into our hearts. We thank you for the high praises of God; for the two edged sword and for your love and peace. We thank you, Lord, for the purpose for which you have chosen us. Give us the mind of Christ and the obedience to you. Make us your servants, to obey you, that your word my come to pass.

Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. Father, we praise you. You have given us our daily bread. You have saved us, delivered us, and healed us. You have prepared us for this gospel of the kingdom of Jesus Christ, that we might be representatives of you to the world.

We thank you, Almighty God, for the praises in our hearts. We thank you for this place and what you are doing here. We refuse to give the enemy any place here in these children and adults. We give you glory. This is your land and your work; we are your people to obey you. We are your servants that we might see your kingdom come and that you might use us; that your will be done in earth as it is in heaven.

Thank you, Father, we give you glory and magnify your name. We praise you for meeting every need, all over the world that you have chosen us to touch. In your wonderful name we ask it, amen.
