Hello Family!
Did you, that we need another? This past Saturday, Teresa Skinner ministered at the Women’s Conference at Hope Chapel on just this matter. How we not only need Jesus, but we need each other. John says
“By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
She spoke of the dangers of division and slander in the church, how we should be focused on “Jesus Christ and Him crucified” as Paul wrote wrote in Corinthians, of letting offenses go toward one another. She spoke on the importance of seeing past the differences in our beliefs about God, but couldn’t we work together for Him? The Lord showed up that day, and it was a powerful time of ministry, healing and an intimate time with our Father.
It really is something to consider in these last days. The evidence of God in our lives will shine in how we treat our brethren in Christ. How we talk to one another, how we love one another, not with our own love, but Christ’s love. As Teresa put it, so many people are dying without knowing about God, while we squabble over things that really aren’t that important. The important thing, is knowing and preaching Christ, and Him crucified.
“For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” 1 Corinthians 2:2
With our September engagements fulfilled, we look toward October and all it has in store! Very soon, Jordan “Bernie” Skinner and Michelle Garcia will be wed! The Lord has been opening doors to His provision and we are so happy for these dear ones as the day approaches. Our dear Wanda Dawson will be the Canadian representative on that wonderful day, and we’re excited that she will be with us for a little while longer.
