He said, “Stand ye still.”  Now, no one ever won a battle standing still.  He says to put on the whole armor of God that we might be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.     For we wrestle not against people.  Why is He describing this?  He wants us to know the battle is not against flesh and blood; but it’s against principalities and powers.  It says to put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against wiles of the devil.  We’re standing against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places.  Why did He tell us that?  So we could see how impossible it is for us to do it.  We are no match for that.  No way could we do it. – Rev. Agnes I. Numer

This excerpt is from this week’s message titled “Spiritual Warfare”. And is it ever a powerful one! In this teaching, Agnes shares how the Lord taught her spiritual warfare, and the key to spiritual warfare:

Who is going to fight your battle for you?  He says, “Put on the whole armor of God.”  What is that armor?  Jesus!  We put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  We stand there with Jesus in us and He will fight the battle for us. -Rev. Agnes I. Numer

There are so many things to glean from this teaching. Reading it once won’t be enough! Be sure to read it, share the link with your friends, even print it out if you’d like! There’s something to be taken away from this message.

Well friends, how glorious are the works He does! We’ve been experiencing some beautiful things lately! Debra Sharp had come to us a few weeks ago, asking if we could teach our Food Handling course. So Sunday (February 2nd) we held a class with almost 20 people, from different ministries! We were blessed to not only teach the class, but with Debra’s help we were able to give the people a hands on experience! The people had an opportunity to sort through the food using the techniques of the course, and it was beautiful to see how happy they were with the Lord’s provision!

Speaking of His provision, we just want to stop and praise Him for how abundantly and beautifully He has been providing for His people! We’ve been able to give food that is healthy and nutritious. The food give out has been wonderful, and we thank God for it all!

We received a report recently from our friends in Mindanao, Philippines. Here is there report:

We want to thank you so very much for your prayers for the ministry and the people of Mindanao as they recover from the devastation of Typhoon Bopha. The final numbers are in and they give a fuller picture of the extent of the tragedy. 701,224 families were affected in 40 cities and 34 provinces. 167,295 homes were damaged or destroyed. More than 1,100 people lost their lives. $603 million of property damage was documented and $410 million worth of crops were destroyed. Pastor Albert was finally able to send us photos of some of the damage to our churches and the homes and farms of our people.

Please continue to pray for our friends as they work in Mindanao, and pray for the people as they recover from these disasters.

We love you family, and we pray for each and everyone of you . Share with us your praise reports and prayer requests. We love to know how God is working in your lives, and how we can pray for you.

In His service,
