Well, last Monday there was no update, due to the high volumes of work, but this Monday we’re here and brimming over with the amazing things that have been transpiring.

About two weeks ago, the Lord blessed us with a new floor for our living room (pictures to come soon!)! We had a young man staying with us for the week, and what a blessing he was to have around! The process took almost a week, and what a relief it was to remove the carpet and have easy-to-clean flooring down! Some of the members of the felt an immediate difference on how easy it was to breathe, since the carpet held in a lot of dirt and dust. We also were able to pare down on the amount of things in the living room, making it more dust free, while being able to display items that give visitors an idea of the different faces of Isaiah 58. The living room looks warm and inviting, and we were even able to do the front room as well! We thank God for His provision for it all!

Just as we were finishing, we were receiving visitors! We had several nations come to us in the span of 4 days! First off, Bishop Daniel Bolias and his team from the Philippines came to visit us while they were in town for the Shekinah Worship Center‘s Arise! Shine Conference. We had a wonderful time over lunch, worship and prayer. The next, our friends from the Soboba Indian Reservation came over while visiting the same conference. Then our dear friend Rev. Amy Wang and her group (they vary, from Taiwan and China) came down from LA, delivering some delicious bread. We spent the time eating and praying, and just enjoying their company.

Not long after Rev. Amy’s visit, we received some family, all the way from Canada! Karol Skinner and Wanda Dawson, Gordon’s mom and sister, are spending the next two weeks with us, and we have the immense pleasure of celebrating Karol’s birthday! Michelle Palma and little Edgar Skinner will be spending the next two months with us. Our dear friend Pastor Sylvester Alanwoko and his wife will be joining us from Nigeria in November as well. We love being able to spend our time with all these wonderful people!

This past Saturday, we held our second garage sale. The garage sale was a divine appointment, as it led a group from Calvary Chapel in El Monte to come and meet up with us. We connected with them, as one of them had been feeling the Lord impressing on his heart to work with Native Americans, but had no contacts. We love when the Lord sends people our way, who are of like mind and heart! If they were the only reason for the garage sale, then praise God! He works in ways that never cease to amaze us.

We’d like to take a minute and talk about YOU, are family! We were pleasantly surprised at how much the activity on our Facebook page has increased! Remember, we want to hear from you! We love interaction with our family from across the world, and any time we hear from you, it brings our hearts joy! So stop on by, drop a line or write a memory, post a picture or a verse. We want to hear from YOU!
