Hello family!

It has been far too long, and time is just going way too fast! Can you believe we’re a mere three days away from ending the month of July? That makes us 5 months away from Christmas. Which means half of the year is already over! Since we’ve been missing in action, we’ll go back a month and give you the spark notes of the highlights from June.

Actually, we’ll back track just a tiny bit before June and talk about our amazing Cross Cultural training class. Dr. Gabriel and his wife, Laura, came and spent two days teaching on the parallel of Kingdom protocol and how it reflects protocol that is necessary when going to different cultures. He spoke on reconciliation and its correlation to God’s redemptive plan for the nations of the world. Dr. Gabriel taught on repentance of sins that have created cycles in cultures, now to differentiate between spiritual and territorial authority. How God is looking for a prototype, someone genuine that He can use to set the precedent, and through proper protocol, do His work in the nations.

It was an incredibly insightful class that brought new light and understanding, and really gave the students an excitement and better tools for their mission work. We had wonderful worships services and times of prayer with them. It was a joy to host them, and spending time with them left all of us refreshed. During the seminar, Dr. Gabriel invited us to a Native American Family Camp on the Strawberry Lake Christian Retreat Center, run by Pastor Gerald Derstine in July. Teresa Skinner and Ashley Flores went to this, which we will post about in our next post. We just want to thank Dr. Gabriel and his beautiful wife Laura for blessing us with those wonderful classes!

As some of our long standing family members know, around December we start to seek the Lord for what the word will be for the upcoming year. This year the word was Isaiah 58:12-14:

12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

Particular emphasis was put on the 12th verse. That those from among us would build the old waste places (Remember this portion of the blog, so when you read our next post, you’ll see something Divinely amazing!), they would raise new foundations for those coming after us. Teresa felt it was time to go and visit of our old, longstanding supporters and family. In June she visited our dear friends Linda and Roland  Beard, and our friends down at Friend Ships. Her report is below:

I have had an amazing trip.

For several years it has been on our hearts to visit ministries and friends that we have worked with during the past 30+ years. This Last week I was blessed to be with Roland and Linda Beard of Christworks ministries and also Don and Sondra Tipton of Friend Ships.

It was beautiful to go with Linda to some of her refueling trips to the clinic. She needed to get iv’s daily and it was a perfect time to just sit and talk together about what God is doing what He has done and what we know He will do in the future. We also took a trip to the lake one evening and watched the peaceful beauty of God’s creation. I always find myself praying for neighboring people in the campsites. They were a family with two kayaks who took turns never arguing about who would go next… hmmm.

Roland and I discussed what his next website would look like and I have started on it for him. We had many hours of quality time renewing relationship, strengthening prayers and refreshing visions.

Thank God for people you have known since you were 16.

Friend Ships was also an amazing time. Don and Sondra and I shared several meals together and took the time to “catch up” on who was doing what and “What ever happened to…” It is amazing how they remember so many. We also talked about their program and their need for more “Sea Hawks.” Sea Hawks are young people between the age of 18-25 who commit 1 year of intensive training and working with Friend Ships. Sea Hawks uses the Israeli Boot Camp Training along with Spiritual Development to create some young men and women who love the Lord and are prepared to respond to disaster.

We were blessed to see them in action as they went out and ministered to their local community.

I was blessed to share a burden to pray for the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation during the Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting and to speak to the Sea Hawks the following morning.

We have all decided that we should do this more often. We have Jesus and we have each other. We cannot forget each other…

We are looking for recruits for the Sea Hawks. Thank you Christworks Ministries and Friend Ships for all you do for the Kingdom of God. Be Encouraged.

How wonderful is that? We’re excited about what God is doing amongst our friends.

Also, be sure to read this week’s message, “His Protection By Our Obedience”. It’s a powerful message, so relevant to what He is doing now all over the earth! Be sure to share on Facebook, Twitter, Email or any other way you want. This message needs to hit the streets!

We thank you so much, and love you all so very much for your continued prayers and support.

Til next time (which will not be 4 months from now!),

Your Family at All Nations International!
