Please turn to Isaiah 26:1 “In that day shall this song be sung in the land of

Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will [God] appoint [for] walls and

bulwarks.

2 “Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.

3 “Thou wilt keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]: because he trusteth in thee.

4 “Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:

5 “For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, [even] to the ground; he bringeth it [even] to the dust.

6 “The foot shall tread it down, [even] the feet of the poor, [and] the steps of the needy.

7 “The way of the just [is] uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.

8 “Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, have we waited for thee; the desire

Of [our] soul [is] to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.

9 “With my soul Have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments [are] in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

10 “Let favour be shewed to the wicked, [yet] will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord.

11 “Lord, [when] thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: [but] they shall see, and be ashamed for [their] envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.

12 “Lord, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.

13 “O Lord our God, [other] lords beside thee have had dominion over us: [but] by thee only will we make mention of thy name.

14 “[They are] dead, they shall not live; [they are] deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.

15 “Thou hast increased the nation, O Lord, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed [it] far [unto] all the ends of the earth.

This is talking about a very particular people and a righteous nation.  Today God is bringing forth a people, a righteous nation, and is appointing salvation as its walls and bulwarks.  There is a song going to be sung in that day: “Open the gates that the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in.”

It is one thing to say we have the truth and it is another to live the truth.  This truth we have is a light to the world.  This nation that He is preparing for himself is a righteous nation.  Now He is saying open up the gates, open up to the Lord that the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in.

Something is happening: God is beginning to move in a special way. Judgment must first come before righteousness can be on the earth.  God will keep us in perfect peace when our minds are stayed on Him because we trust in Him.  Trust in the Lord forever for in Jehovah is everlasting strength.  He brings down those who dwell on high and “…the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth It low, [even] to the ground; he bringeth it [even] to the dust.”

God is going to do something: He is going to show these people that He is God. He said that when His judgment comes the people are going to learn righteousness; the world is going to learn it.  When these calamities come people get shaken up and get disturbed by it; but the Lord is saying He has ordained peace for us.

We need to come to the Lord and realize that only God can give us peace; no one else can give us that peace.  One way we have peace is if we let Him put His works in us.  If we allow His works to be wrought in us then we are going to have peace for it’s not our works; but His works.

A lot of people give to the poor, they feed people and they do all of these things; but if they aren’t doing it by the Lord, its vain works.  If it’s not done by His Spirit, its vain works and to God it looks like hay, wood and stubble; just to be burned.  But if we’re walking in the Lord and moving by His leading, we can ask Him for that peace that He has already ordained for us.  We don’t need to live without it; we can have it if we will accept it.

He says that this is what He will do. “I have ordained this peace for you and if you will let me do my works in you I will give you that peace.”  Here’s this little word: “Lord thou wilt ordain…”  He already willed it to us; but it’s up to us to take it.  You know when anybody dies and wills you something and you never collect it, you will never have it.  Will you?  The same is true here.  He willed it for us but if we don’t go and collect it we’ll never have it.

There is a condition: we have to let Him do His works in us.  What are they?  He will tell you, “You have had other lords in your life now let me take them out and I will put my works in you.”

“O Lord our God, other lords besides thee have had dominion over us: [but] by thee only will we make mention of thy name.” We are coming to Him declaring that we need Him, we need His peace and He is the only one that can give it to us.  He is the only one that can keep our minds in perfect peace, the only one that can take the lords out of our life and keep them out.

When we make the decision to let Him work His works in us; we’re letting Him chase out these other lords that have had dominion over us, only then can we be delivered.  It’s only by the Lord that it can be done.  “Other lords besides thee have had dominion over us: but by the only will we make mention of thy name.”

Only God can remove these lords, we can’t do it.   Now He says, “[They are] dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them.”  God is going to do it not us.  “You give them to me.  They are dead they shall not live; they are deceased (they are buried); they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them and made all their memory to perish.”

How many of us can cause the memory of our past to perish?  None of us can! He said, “Give me those lords and I will destroy them; they will not live, they are buried and they will not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them.

If you think He is going to just knock them out you are mistaken.  He is going to completely destroy them and make their memory to perish.

“Lord, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.”  If we have our works in us, it is up to God to take these other things out; but He can’t do it unless we give them to Him.  He is talking about this righteous nation that is obeying Him.  Are we that righteous nation?  I hope so!  All we need to do is give it to Him and He will do the destroying of it.

He will give us perfect peace of mind as we put our trust in Him; perfect peace of mind.  He has ordained it for us!  We have to let Him change us and put His works in us.  That’s why He said, “Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusts in thee.”

How much do we trust Him when we are worrying about something?  We worry about many things.  We will never have perfect peace unless we let Him keep us in perfect peace.  The only way we are going to have that perfect peace is if we trust and believe His word.  I don’t mean put it on the refrigerator and repeat it until it comes to past; that’s not trust.  Trust is when you read it and God says it, you believe it and you do it. You don’t keep going by the signs to see what is happening.  You believe it in your heart and you trust Him.

Put your trust in the Lord forever, not over one situation and up comes another situation and we can’t go through that situation.  He says, “Trust ye in the Lord forever for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.”

When you say, “I can’t believe God for this.”  It is because we are trusting in our own mind.  He said, “Let this mind be in you which is in Christ Jesus.” Jesus had perfect peace because His mind was stayed on Him.  The Father had charge of His mind and purpose.  He didn’t come to do His own thing; He didn’t come to walk in His own way or to seek His own pleasure or to speak His own words.  He came to speak the words of the Father that He might bring to us this righteous nation.  Trust in the Lord because Jesus has changed our lives: He’s taken out the other lords.

There are lords of our flesh and lords from the devil and also human lords.  He has to take them out.  We aren’t going to know what it means.  We don’t have it figured out and God knows it.  You aren’t going to go any farther with it; give it to Him and let Him take it.  Let Him put His peace in you and take the devil out and destroy it and we have His peace.

“Lord, I would like to have that Cadillac or big house;” but he didn’t give you His peace.  You just talk about it.  God wants you to have peace.  Jesus had no house yet He had perfect peace.  If you say, “I am set in my ways and I’m not going to change!”  Why do we struggle?

The Lord has given us a mighty word here.  It is ours if we will let Him bring it to us.  Those lords are dead and they will not rise for He destroyed them and made all their memories to perish.  What haunts us when we come out of the world and all of our past follows us around?  The devil and people!  They don’t let us forget it.  God said He took it and destroyed it and the memory will perish.

I was ministering in Northern California.  I had 4 services that day and when I came in that evening the Lord did surgery on my mind.  I ask the Lord, “What are you doing?”  He said, “I am doing surgery on your mind!”  He cut it open, reached in and took out that which ought not to be there.  He filled it with light and warmth and His Spirit and then He closed it up by His spirit.  He closed it up so it can’t get back in.

The mind is like a tape recorder; He reached in and took it all out.  We can’t erase it, only God can.  God took out the memory and put His everlasting peace there.  I had an Italian friend that worried all the time.  The Lord told me to call her and pray for her so I called her and she came over.  He took all of the things in her mind that were not of Him and told her this is a creative miracle I have done for you.  The Lord transformed her life instantly.  She moved away and I heard she never worried any more.

I know He is able to do that so our minds are stayed on Him.  He can do it; because He did it for me.  God wants to take these things out of our life so we rest in His peace and He reigns supreme within us.

People say to me you have a heavy load.  I tell them I’m not doing it the Lord is.  Open up our gates and let the King of Glory come in.  “With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments [are] in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

Peace, God’s peace!  There is no other peace in the world except God’s peace. When He takes these things, these lords, and gives His peace and takes the memory away you are in the realm of His rest that doesn’t pass away.

God wanted to give this peace to the children of Israel all the years of their lives; but because they wanted to run their own show and do their own thing, they got into the heathen ways.  And because of this, judgment was brought upon them. They walked in the way of the heathens.  They were being shown God’s way; but they accepted the heathen way.

God has given us peace.  He has ordained it for us; but it up to us to meet His conditions to receive it.  We better know that He can destroy the lords in our life. You might say, “Lord, I want to let go of it!”  You try to get deliverance for it but that isn’t the way it is. These lords that have had dominion over us, they have to go.

Who are you anyway?  You either have lords that are in you or have torment.  The only way you are going to have peace is by giving the lords to God.  Let Him destroy them.  We are no longer working our works; but the Lord is working His works in us.  We are ready to stand; because we are not there defending our minds.

It is not as difficult as people think it is.  We need to give the junk to the Lord and let him change our lives.  God wants to run His channel of peace through you; a channel of peace through which we don’t have to have a memory of the past. When He takes it, He will take it all.

I have a hard time with those who go around building their message on their past. He took my past and destroyed it and caused the memory to perish.  God moves in the natural and spiritual.  It is wonderful!  He told me, “I have given you the gift of miracles and if you will pray for people there will be a miracle.

My little girl died when she was 12 years old.  I was in the hospital and she was sick 3 days and then she was gone.  The Lord said to me, “I have born thy grief and carried thy sorrow; if you will give it to me I will give you peace.  So I gave it to Him and I felt this peace.  I never grieved, I praised Him for the years I had her. He said to me, “This is a creative miracle I have done for you.  When others come I will do the same for them.”

Years later a friend passed away and I prayed for the family.  The sister died and the Lord said, “I will anoint you and I will take that sorrow.”  They said, “Agnes, I never thought I could go through this.”  We can let the Lord have it and He will take it.  He has ordained peace that is everlasting if we trust Him.  I have never mistrusted God; I never blamed God for anything.

We need to give God our life when the things of the world are coming on us.  You can’t say you have it unless you give it to the Lord.  He is going to have charge of our lives.  One time a young man came in late and said, “I am an alcoholic and a drug addict would you pray for me?  I said, “I will pray that the Lord will give you His mind.”  We prayed for him and the Lord gave him a new mind.  He is in the ministry glorifying God.  God gave new minds to some of the people here.  God took their old memories away.

He has ordained peace for us; but the thing is, will we let him do it?  He is the same today and forever.  “Thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee.”

Father, we ask you to move in every heart.  Thank you for the creative memories in these people; cause the old memory to perish that they may have perfect peace.  Set the captivities free; come into this place and bring your peace and bring your works to them that the enemy can’t say that it is not God.  I ask you to remove the lords out of our minds.  I thank you to pour out your Spirit and take out these other lords of our life that we might have perfect peace in you.  Give us no memory of the past of every mind here that will receive it, and destroy the lords.

I thank you now, Jesus, to remove every evil from your people.  Remove them Lord, seal our minds that the enemy can’t remove what you have given to us.  We thank you, Jesus, for your creative miracle.  Remove everything that is not of you.  Destroy these lords that are not of you.  Seal us by the Holy Ghost that these things will never come again.  Thank you for the creative miracle in our lives.  Breathe on us Lord, with your perfect peace.  We thank you for these miracles that we might trust in you.

Live and reign in us, Jesus.  We thank you for the love and rest that you have given us that we might have fellowship with one another.  We thank you for the miracles; have dominion over us, Lord.  We believe for everlasting strength, by your word.  We thank you for the peace you have given us.  Thank you, Jesus.   Let our hearts not be troubled.  Your word is mighty and we give you glory and we praise you.  We thank you for these creative miracles.  Thank you, Jesus.
