One word: WOW! God’s word is always relevant, because His culture never changes, His principles are always firm and His righteousness is true. But it never ceases to amaze us when we read a word that is timely! Enjoy this powerful word of the Lord. God bless you all!
We are in a new beginning and what I have to say is the Holy Spirit speaking through me. We can lay aside all the old beginnings and we’re going to hear the word of the Lord. He means business with the children and adults alike. There has been a lot of fooling around; you’re in God’s house and He is drawing a line. You can do whatever you want to do; but God is drawing a line and that line is exacting.
John 15:1 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 “Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every [branch]
that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 “I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 “If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into the fire, and they are burned.
7 “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it
shall be done unto you.
8 “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9 “As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
11 “These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and [that] your joy might be full.
12 “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15 “Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.”
In 1st. John God talks about His love in us. 1st. John 4:16 “And we have known and believed the love that God hath for us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
17 “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”
Go to Isaiah chapter 4:2 “In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth [shall be] excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
3 “And it shall come to pass, [that he that is] left in Zion, and [he that] remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, [even] every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
4 “When the LORD shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
5 “And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon
her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory [shall be] a defence.
6 “And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.”
Go back to the 2nd verse. “In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious.” We were reading where Jesus said, “I am the true vine and you are the branches.” Wherever you see ‘that day’ it is now. It is the time for the fulfillment of all things of God’s word and our lives. If ye abide in me and I abide in you, you will bring forth much fruit.
I was ministering in India and they were singing The True Vine. The Lord gave me the message about the branch. He says “In that day the branch of the Lord shall be beautiful.” In this branch His love is one and His glory is the other. If you put your hands out one is filled with His love the other is filled with His glory. In that day His branch will be filled with His love and glory.
If His love and glory are on the branch where is the fruit? “And the fruit of the earth shall be excellent.” It’s His love and glory, through us, that’s going to the nations and the truth that comes from it will be excellent and comely. Comely means you’re happy for the truth; you’re rejoicing in it. He’s transforming us and taking out the junk; but we’re trying to put the junk in. If we’re in this place we don’t have the time to put the junk in our children. I’m sorry but Jesus is going to use you children very quickly, filled with God’s love and glory. Don’t think you’re being bored here just because you’re required to do things.
This generation is a chosen generation, you are chosen of God. It is an honor to be here so why are you out here every weekend trying to do your own thing? That’s not what you’re here for! You’re here to be made like Him. It doesn’t say a word about age. He wants to take out the junk that we or our parents put in us; or what comes from our ancestors. He wants to take it out and fill us with His love.
What are we going to do with it? He washing away all this filth that needs to come out of us so His love can fill us and make us as He is. Sometimes I wonder what God’s love means to you and where is that love? Many of your attitudes don’t belong in God’s house or among God’s children. He’s purging them out by the spirit of judgment against the spirit of the works of Satan. Jesus has taken them out of us by the spirit of burning which burns out the flesh.
This creates in us Christ’s nature. God is saying that He is going to bring us the spirit of judgment and He is now purging by the spirit of burning in our lives. We wonder why we go through all these problems. It is because He’s making us as He is for His purpose and for His glory.
The children need to understand that if we know His word, no matter how small you are, He will work in you if we want to know Him. You need to realize the treasure that God has given to you and not misuse or abuse it in these children. You don’t have to cater to the whims of the children and do what they want you to do; but teach them to let God govern their lives to walk as He wants.
I’m not asking you to be adults; but to allow God’s love to come into you. He’s changing us and He has a mighty plan for every child and adult in this world; we have to understand what He is saying.
Why do we want junk in our lives when we can have love? Why do we want stuff that pulls us back into sin and the devil when we have His love? What He wants is to empty us of everything so His love can have full place within us.
“In that day shall the branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth [shall be] excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.” The fruit is on the earth and we are going to harvest it with His love and glory. We shall proclaim to the world that God is love and He sends His provision and glory to the nations. Its harvest time, the fields are ripe!
You young people are living at a time when God is speaking to you that He is the true vine and you are the branch. The vine has the light and the branch doesn’t tell the vine what to do. The vine has the light and He holds that light in us. He is preparing us for something the world has never known. He’s preparing us to go out, filled with His love and glory, to gather much fruit from the nations.
We’re going to take Isaiah 58 to the nations for it is the provision of God. We are going to be filled with His love and glory and provision. Isaiah 58 is the full provision of God to the nations. He said that it will go like fire to the nations for He is moving with the fire of the Holy Ghost on the face of this earth to bring everyone and fill them with His love.
There are billions out there that don’t know our God or Jesus. Think what failures we have been with Christianity. Why do you suppose there has been such a failure in the world? The leaders of other nations decided they didn’t want God or Christ so they shut their doors against them. For a while God said, “Let it be.” But now God is saying, “It is harvest time, go and gather the harvest.”
God isn’t pleased that the leaders of nations closed their doors. God will not be mocked! Whatsoever they sow they are going to reap for God is sending His judgment. He’s preparing us with His love and glory to go to the nations filled with His provision through Isaiah 58. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. They said, “We are going to allow Him to come into our country.” After major disasters they called for missionaries to come help the people. The Lord had an appointed time to do what He is now doing and that time is now.
We must be trained by His spirit to carry the gospel of the kingdom to the nations. The Lord gave the world a chance to do it their way; now He is going to do it His way but He can’t take us unless we permit Him to change our lives 100%. We can’t go doing our own thing; God has laid the entire plan before us. It says in Isaiah 58 we need to get rid of things and when we do the Lord is right there to take us forward in the things that He has for us. He’s going to meet the needs of the people of the nations.
He now is saying to us that you’re not in charge. We’re not going anywhere if we don’t allow Him to be in charge of us. The laborers are few and we don’t send anybody to battle without preparing them first; neither does He send us to the harvest if we don’t know how to harvest the seed. There’s a way to harvest each thing and to harvest souls we need His love to be in us so that He can bring His provision and glory to every place. This place God has given to us, all these years, has been with His bountiful provision. I don’t know people’s hearts but sometime I wonder how grateful we really are for His wonderful provision.
We are in a new beginning. We have God’s love, provision and glory to prepare us to go to the nations without fail. It’s not us, He has spoken it and He has brought it to pass. All the words that I read to you He has spoken. He has given this to us that we might allow Him to change us, so He can fill us with His love and fill us with His provision and glory through Jesus Christ, who is the King of Glory. He is going to take His kingdom, not the kingdom of this world, but the Kingdom of God to those nations who don’t know Him. We will be used of Him to go where they don’t even know there’s a living God and they don’t know that there’s a Savior.
God is sending cyclones and earthquakes; He’s shaking them up. He wants them to know that He is God and that He loves everyone in this world and has a plan and it is perfect. We have to let Him perfect us so that we can take Him with this gospel of the kingdom to the nations. If you permit God to do His training, He can bring you into a place where you hear and obey His voice.
I think so often we have our own plan and ideas and we don’t let God interfere with them. I tell you what God wants to do: He wants you to be very sensitive to His voice. I see things in the kitchen and outside and I know God is grieved about it for someone is not allowing God to train them. This is a training center and some of us aren’t permitting God to train us.
Why don’t we have television or radios? When you carry a radio on your shoulder and stick the plugs in your ears you’ll never hear God’s voice. You’ve got your ears plugged with music and you won’t be trained. It’s not boring here, it’s mighty and glorious. You have the best privilege in the world: to know Jesus and to be trained by Him. I’m not training you, He is. Why don’t you know it?
I can’t train you, only God can do that. Why does Kathy have to scream around here because of the way the work is being done? Or the way the kitchen is being done. Or who is out there or who isn’t out there. There should be a spiritual flow! “I’m going to have my own life,” that’s what I hear. What is your life without Him and why are you here? God is saying, “It is harvest time.”
You don’t wait for harvest time to prepare for it, do you? There’s a lot you have to do: you have to prepare the land and sow the seed. Then you have to take care of it until it has grown and is ready for the harvest. Then there are many different ways to harvest it. Each kind of plant is harvested differently and God has to train us how we’re to harvest His fruit. Isaiah is full of this information:
Isaiah 9:2 “The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
3 “Thou hast multiplied the nation, [and] not increased the joy:”
He’s talking about this righteous nation! He’s saying that He hasn’t increased the joy because the harvest hasn’t been finished yet. Our joy is the harvest! My joy is in you, to see you come forth. That’s the joy that I have but I can only give you the way, I can’t make you do it. He is talking about the battle of the warrior: “[this] shall be with burning [and] fuel of fire.”
6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 “Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end.”
We are taking His kingdom to the nations. The result of our going to the nations is the burning, the fuel of fire of the Holy Ghost. For unto us a child is born unto us a Son is given and of the increase of His government there’s no end. So we are taking His Kingdom to the nations; because Jesus is in us. He is the king of glory! We can’t go except Jesus takes us to the harvest. He can’t take us to the harvest unless He has been given the place within us. It is time for us to go to the harvest!
It’s not what we think it is. The world out there won’t know there’s a living God unless He can perfect us. They will never know unless God can rise up this nation. They are going out, but not with great rejoicing until they get the harvest. They are coming into the kingdom of God that will never end. God is now moving across this world so we can go to the nations with His love, provision, and glory. Isaiah 58 covers everything. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.
All the Old and New Testament is where His kingdom is given to us. We’ve ministered quite a bit on what God is saying. I don’t find it clicking in us, that we are willing to do it by the Spirit of the Lord. He trained me by His Spirit; He didn’t let me walk and just do a job half way. We need to check our hearts and attitudes. He has wanted us to allow Him to do in us what He wants.
Very soon we are going to make some major changes at Sommer Haven and we have to be ready for it. I want to encourage you to be filled with His love so He will be able to send you filled with His provision. One thing I am certain of: He is going to bring His kingdom to the nations and He wants to use us if we will let Him. He’ll find somebody else, because we haven’t permitted Him to train us in the way that He wants us to go. We will not be able to do it unless we hear Him. I trust that everyone, the adults and children are sent; but I know God is not asleep. He is making demands of us: lining us up at Sommer Haven to hear what God is saying.
God is bringing righteousness back to our nation. Sommer Haven has always had righteousness, but a lot of stuff has tried to sneak in. He has angels all over this place. Don’t think you’re getting by with it: God is keeping records. One time there was a little trouble and I went to an evangelistic meeting and asked him to pray for me. When He did I went down in the spirit. The Lord said, “Why are you so discouraged?” I was in a Lancaster church and He showed me this house. He shows me the front and back doors and said to me, “I have angels over these doors and on top of this house.” He took me down every building He said, “I have angels there and down at the end of the road I have angels there and on 90th Street I have a heavenly host around this place.” Do you think they are idle? I don’t think so! They are keeping an eye on it.
The Lord wanted me to tell you this because it is holy ground. He is helping us keep it holy. Just because God owns it doesn’t mean we can make a trash heap of it or that we can refuse to keep up our end of what God has given us in the training.
If you go to another country you will have to know what to do. It’s up to us. You have heard it many times from me. I’m not just talking to be talking: the Holy Spirit is talking to you.
I want to see some fire of the Lord Jesus Christ. This Child is born to you and me. A Son was given to us that we might be filled with His love and kingdom; that we might take this kingdom to the ends of the earth. That’s Jesus in us!
I remember when we first started this training we didn’t have any married couples. God began to unite people. In a little while they began to have children. These little children were filled with the Holy Ghost before they could talk; they were filled with the Spirit of God. This little boy came to me at two years old, He said, “Grandma I want to learn to read.”
At four I took him to an meeting in Arizona when we were invited with the native people and Pat Robertson was there. It was for the native children. At this time we had a work on Quechan Reservation in Yuma and we had a place where we stayed so we would take him with us. By this time he was four He could read the A is for Apple book.
The next morning he could read the King James Bible and he understood it; because in his heart he wanted to read the word. What is in our hearts? What the Lord wants is that we will desire to know Him and let Him train us in the way He wants us to go. The Lord is speaking to our hearts that it is harvest time.
The kingdom must be in us so that we can take His kingdom to the nations. There’s no time now to waste. God has appointed you to be in this place, every moment of your time is valuable to Him. He will never treat you wrong; because He, in you, is going to take this gospel to the nations. It is up to us!
Without the provision you will go no where. The people will perish without a vision but if we allow Him to use us He will send a burning fire. A Child is born and to us the Son is given that He can take us to the nations to bring forth His love, glory and provision. Isaiah 58 is God’s strategy to the nations that they might know His love and glory. We have to be fed with God’s love and obey His voice that He can use us to go to the nations. There is nation after nation that doesn’t know God. And God says, “Here, I gave you this Child, this Son, take Him to the nations.”
We are not of this world and this eternal kingdom is inside of us. There is a loving Father and a Savior who died for everyone that will permit Him to train them, so that this Son of God can be taken to the nations. Permit Him to train you for His kingdom with His love, provision and His glory. It’s in our hands; what will you do with it? God bless you.
I thank you, precious Jesus, that you burn within us and you are that Child that came for us and you desire us to be a child and a son of yours in the your kingdom that will go to the nations. Make this work that you have placed in our hearts to become a flame of fire. Let it not be quenched; take us with your love and provision and glory to the nations. We thank you, Lord Jesus, for the harvest time is now. Help us to take this vision to the harvest before us. In Jesus name, amen!
The word says call upon me and I shall give you mighty things. I said, “Lord, I call upon you.” He said, “Ask of me and I will give thee the heathen for your inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.” I said, “Lord, I ask you for the heathen.” He said, “I give them to you.” He’s asking us to give ourselves to Him so He can give us the heathen for our inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth for our possessions.
When my brother died and also when my nephew died I was reminded of what God asked of me in my youth. I’d gone through much; because my mother died when I was 11 years. In my family five were younger than me. My youngest sister was 3 years old when my Mother died. Merrill was a little better than a year. My brother Delbert was younger than me. The whole world changed very quickly; I felt that my life had ended, because there were 5 children under me and the two older children were boys. My oldest sister went to work at the age of 16.
It was in 1927 when my mother died and in 1929 all of America crashed and went into the great depression. My father was a carpenter, but there were no carpenter jobs. We lost our mother and the whole economy was down. We had a soup kitchen where it was mostly made of water. It was difficult for all of us; but the Lord sent me where I had plenty to eat; I never went hungry in my life for the Lord took care of me.
You might think it’s a little thing for a little child to know the Lord. But it isn’t, it’s very important. If I hadn’t known Him at a young age, I could not have taken the stress. And at the time it was difficult; but God had His hand on me. I thought my world had ended. It didn’t!
God took care of me from the time I was a small child. I didn’t have the privileges most of you have; I didn’t have any privileges except what God gave me. He kept me! There came a day, after I had taken care of these children, that it was as though there was no one that would even thank me for it. A doctor asked me, “Why would you do this?” My answer was, “Because I love them.” She said, “Don’t you know that not a one of them is going to come and say thank you.” I thought about it.
I had a brother that went into the Navy and came to the East coast when I was there going to school. He said, “I came to say good-bye. Sis, I want you to know one thing, if not one of these children appreciate you, I want you to know here’s one boy who does and I want to thank you.” That’s the only one that I got a thank you from.
Then came the time that the Lord said: “Give them up before it destroys you.” I was being pulled backward because of the things that were being done. It wasn’t their fault; I was allowing the circumstances to pull me back. The Lord said to me, “I want you to give them up. I have asked you and you’ve not done it, now I command you.” The moment He commanded me to do it, He took all the heartache and sorrow; all of the mistreatment out of me and filled me with His love. He took it out of my memory. If I tried to think of it I couldn’t; because it was God.
Now He said I am going to give you a family that’s going to love you and you’re going to love them. He took everything out of my life concerning my natural family and replaced it. I gave it up as He asked me to; I didn’t keep anything. Then I had my own family and the Lord said to me, “I require of you that your husband and children don’t mean any more to you than a stranger coming in that door.” What happened then? I had to die to my own desires. I said, “God, your will be done.” This is what God required of me and this work is His, today, not mine.
I graduated from Taylor University. There was a man whose father had died recently, all their inheritance is around Taylor University. He says to me, “Agnes I want to show you our inheritance.” As He was driving me all around showing me his inheritance the Lord said to me “Agnes do you remember when I asked you give up your family and you gave them up. I will give you the heathen for your inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.” The tears ran down my face.
This man didn’t know what was happening while he was telling me about his inheritance. I was praising God, because the fact was that I was obedient to God. That is more important.
