“The Fine Water That Perfects God’s Love”

We thank you Jesus, you’re not only our Savior you’re our redeemer, our Lord and king. We worship you and thank you for the mighty love that you gave. Have your way in each of our hearts. We worship you and exalt your name above all names and give you glory, in Jesus name we pray. God has given eternal life to those who had no life through His Son, Jesus Christ.

1st John 4:1 “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2 “Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3 “And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

4 “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

5 “They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 “We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

7 “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

8 “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

9 “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

10 “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins.

11 “Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

12 “No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

13 “Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

14 “And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son [to be] the Saviour of the world.

15 “Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

16 “And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

17 “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

19 “We love him, because he first loved us.

20 “If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

21 “And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.”

God’s doing a mighty work in the world today. I just had a call from one of our girls who married a famous singer. They are turning the place upside down for the Lord. He just told me he threw away all of his past music; he was given heavenly music. They are setting up a place of praise and worship in Missouri. They’re very excited about it and are giving God the glory.

God has so given us of His love. The enemy fights it very much because it’s the love that’s going to change the world and it begins in us. There’s a strange scripture here that says you will know the truth from error. If we are of God and they will not hear us, then they are in error.

This is how you can tell the difference. Not everybody that says Lord, Lord shall enter into the kingdom of God. But God’s love changes our life. There are many ways that God changes us. We are self-centered mercenaries, with the love of money which is the root of all evil. All of this stuff is in us: we hate rather than love and we have bitterness toward one another. Human love can’t prevail, only God’s love will prevail. There has to be some changes in our life so that we can be filled with His love.

So what does Jesus do? He said, “I’ll take you out from among the heathen where you have profaned my name. I will wash you with clean water. I will give you a new heart. I will take out your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. I will give you a new spirit and cause you to walk in my ways.” We call that the new birth, don’t we? God takes out all this and God puts in His love.

The Lord is speaking to our hearts. God’s love must prevail over every situation. Sometimes it’s hard, because the circumstances make it difficult. If these things are taken from us we will be able to love one another with the love of the Lord. His love is the greatest power in the world. He’s pouring out His love and glory. There are many ways He’s doing it in our life.

Many people don’t know that there’s a God that loves them; they don’t know there’s a Savior that died for them. We must tell them. How can they hear without a preacher? How can they know unless they hear it? The Lord is saying His love must be in us. His love must prevail to us and around us.

In Isaiah 58 He speaks concerning His perfect plan to bring the gospel of the kingdom to man. Some call that God’s helps; but I call it God’s gospel. “Oh, you’ve got a ministry of helps. You send food around the word and you feed the hungry. You have a big ministry of helps.” I have news for them I have the ministry of the kingdom.

This is the hour when Jesus said, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.” God is love. “How can God be love with all that is going on in the world today?” God didn’t do it, we did. Don’t blame God for what you or somebody else is doing. It isn’t God’s doings; it’s man’s doings. Don’t blame God about what you are doing; He won’t take the blame. He said, “Be not deceived, God is not mocked for whatsoever a man soweth that He shall also reap.”

Don’t blame God or something else; blame won’t get you anywhere. Blaming somebody else just eases your conscience. God’s love covers a multitude of sins and changes our life. We need to allow Him to change us. It’s the processing that’s very important in our life. We all know we are sentenced to death by the fall of Adam. Adam gave that right to Satan through disobedience; so now he thinks he owns the world. He thinks! Here comes the Lord, mighty in power. He’s coming in His love and glory to the nations.

He has to have a people prepared, in His love, who will not be changed by the circumstances; a people that will allow the Lord to fill them with His love. Sure you’re going to get testing, they will come. But we have to stand strong in His love and know that this love is going to supercede anything that can happen to us. God’s love prevails in every circumstance; but we must allow His love to be in us so that He can prevail in us.

God has called us in His love and glory. This love He has shed abroad in our hearts that we might love one another and love those that hate us and despise us; love those that treat us badly. God’s love takes no offence of these things; but prevails through every circumstance.

His love has to be in us. In Isaiah 26:13 “O LORD our God, [other] lords beside thee have had dominion over us…” His peace He gives to us and with His peace He gives His  love, His joy, righteousness and holiness. Matt. 22:37-39 “Jesus said unto him, thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”

There is a processing that has to take place in our life as we go through many circumstances; because it’s difficult to love those that are unlovely or those that hate us. Just think about it. “For God so love the world…” He knew this world that He made. He knew what it was going into. But He chose His Son to die for us that we might live in Him. “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.” Jesus so loved us that He gave Himself for us. He so loves us that, even this hour, He sits at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us.

Why do we give Him a difficult time? Why do we blame everything in the world on Him? He didn’t do it we did it! I hear a lot of people blaming God and I shudder because they will find out God isn’t to blame. I hope they do before the judgment. God is out to give us His blessings. He’s out to give us everything good, if we will turn to Him. It’s not easy. It gets easier the more you die to yourself and the more He lives in you.

Pretty soon you get numb and then you get like you’re dead. One time at my daughter’s casket the Lord said to me, “Do you see her? She is dead!” I said, “Yes, Lord. He said, “You see that body? There’s no life in it! That’s how dead I want you to be.”

His love doesn’t take offence and suffers long and is kind. This love which He imparts is everlasting; it doesn’t pass away. It gets greater and greater as we walk with Him and know Him in the power of His resurrection. His love prevails in every circumstance. It never fails. It’s up to us to let Him take out all that is not of Him. Sometime I think it’s too much; but we’re not dead yet.

I used to say to the Lord, “I don’t deserve this kind of treatment.” Then I realized He was only trying to take my flesh out of me so He can live in there without interruption. Because we interrupt Him with our flesh don’t we? We interrupt Him. We hinder our growth in His love, because of our flesh.

This morning the Lord is saying to us: His love is perfect and He wants His perfect love in us, so that others might see Him and not us. When we are dead then there’s no feeling there. I died on the operating table so I know what it is to be dead. I also know what it is to be dead and for Christ to live in me. He loves us so much that He wants this great and mighty love to saturate us until we can separate the powers from the individual and love that individual, regardless of the powers.

Until we can separate that individual from the powers of the enemy, we can’t love them. We are affected by what they say and how they act. We can only separate the person from the powers through Christ in us. This is what God is asking of us. We live here as one big family. Not everybody here is perfect. The enemy’s powers are everywhere, but God’s love is everywhere, too.

God’s love is here so He wants it to be manifested to one another so that His love might prevail under every circumstance and that we won’t be affected by the circumstances. Sometimes it’s difficult. Don’t try to handle it, let God handle it. Forgive the people no matter what they do. His love will penetrate through. Your love might not; they might hate you. God’s going to penetrate somehow with His love.

The Lord reminded me that there are people who have no one to pray for them. Pray for those that no one prays for; because only those that we ask God to save can He saved. Do you know why? He gave man the power of choice. Don’t blame God if you make the wrong choice. Blame yourself if you make the wrong choice. You have a free will to choose whatever you want to choose.

He told me one time: “You have no right to try to change any one’s mind. If they choose the wrong thing, that’s their right to do it.” God has a reckoning day. You blame God for the choice you made. Don’t do it! Because He gave you a free will to make the choice. You better know it’s the right choice or you’re going to take the consequences of it. You can’t blame God. He’ll not take the blame.

We need to realize this and realize His love is so mighty that He can change the world if we will allow His word to saturate us and allow it to become the controlling factor in our life. If we will receive from Him, and receive His love to others, then the changes are coming in the world today.

I believe that God’s plan is so mighty in this hour. The spirit of the Lord is crying out of us that we may be made perfect in His love so that we can reach out and change lives. But we don’t like the processing. Just think and realize it won’t always hurt. In Psalm 66 it says that after you’ve gone through the fire and floods and men riding over your backs; all these things, it says you come out into a wealthy place. You come out into the perfect provision of God.

“Oh, the price we pay!” I get bothered at that saying. We’re throwing away a bunch of junk that isn’t worth much anyway. “I paid a big price.” No, you didn’t, Jesus paid a big price to clean you out and take out the junk. So He can have time with you; so His love can prevail in you, so that the world might know who Jesus is.

I know there are Christians that say, “Come Lord Jesus. I can hardly wait until Jesus comes.” Sometimes I question it. I know, but there’s a work to be done. There’s a world out there that needs to know that Jesus loves them. If you don’t know how big that world is and how horrible that world is then you can see it in a few minutes on the television. The word says that gross darkness is in the people and the world. Even as dark as the world is, God love is greater. Just as gross as the people get, God’s love is greater.

I’ve got news for every leader of nations who decides they are not going to allow people to know God. He’s coming, not is His glory in the heavens, but in His love and glory in His people. He has a righteous nation to go out and pull down the strongholds of Satan and the kingdoms of darkness and He’s going to do it before He returns to take away His people.

The hour is come when the Lord is saying He’s going to perfect His people in His love. Do you want to be one of those? Then go through the fire and water and the testing. Come out pure gold without dross; then you’re ready for His pure love and glory to be seen of men.

They were hungry and they fed them. They were naked and they clothed them. They were sick and they visited them. They were thirsty and they gave them drink. They were in prison and they visited them. How much love do we have today? How much of His love are we permitting for Him to put in us? Sure you’re going to have testing. It is good; fire and water is good. His fire doesn’t burn you, water doesn’t burn you. It only cleans us out and gets us ready for His love.

What a mighty God we have; a God of peace, joy, righteousness, and holiness. Maybe you’d rather have your rap music or rock and roll. If you were a Pentecostal rolling they’d give you a bad time. But the rock and roll they’ll take. You can be a holy roller and you’ll be in trouble with them if you are.

God’s love prevails in every situation. The more we give it to Him, the more He can do for us. The more we hold onto it, the longer it takes for Him to change our life. I have news for you. You don’t have to 80 years like I’ve had. You only have time enough to get ready. Be eager for the Lord to change your life so He can fill you with His love. His love for us, today, is so awesome.

The provision of the Lord is so mighty and He longs to give it to us. He longs to shower His blessings upon us. But He can only do it if we allow Him to. Let Him make your decisions instead of you. When He makes those decisions then you’re safe. You are in the realm of His perfect will. He will transform your life with His love. Let go of the things that hinder us. Let God take them.

We need a new insight into His love and glory; into how God works to bring us into the pure and perfect will of God. This is what God has given to us, through Jesus, that we might love one another; not after man’s love or ways but God’s ways. I’m not going to say you won’t have difficulties and problems; but we found out at Sommer Haven that God exposes those with circumstances. I don’t know about any place else; but here He exposes us. Doesn’t He? We get shaken by it; but if we see it rightly we will let Him take it. We are different.

He changes us so that we can be filled with His love and glory. It is awesome what God is doing in our lives. We need to let Him prepare us so that we will ready to become what He wants us to be. Filled with His to go where He wants us to go and do what He wants us to do.

It is a very exciting time in which to live if you’re on the right road. If you’re on the wrong road you are in serious trouble. You better get on the right road pretty fast so His love can cover you in all circumstances and you can arise in His love and His glory. Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised.

Today I can feel, so much, what God is pouring into us; how preparing us in the little things. With the still small voice He can guide us in the way that He would have us to go. It’s not with thunder or earthquake; not with all these things, but with the still small voice. With His love He transforms our lives. This love is greater than any thing in this world. I don’t call it a price to pay for He paid the price. All we have to do is receive it and let Him give us His perfect love until every part of us is saturated with it. Then the things of this world will seem as nothing when His love prevails.

God’s wonderful love is given to us that we might shine brightly with His light in the midst of darkness and His joy will fill us with His peace. What can you say? How can you give Him any back talk? We can’t honestly. Because He’s giving us everything through which we can be filled with His love and glory. What an awesome God.

He made the world and made us to worship Him. He didn’t make us to worship Satan. He didn’t make us to go through the hell we go through. No He didn’t. He wanted us to love Him and serve Him because He loves us. This love has no comparison, nothing compares to it. His glory is going to cover the earth as waters cover the sea. Nothing is going to stop Him. If you are on the wrong side you are going to be in trouble. If we weren’t on the Lord’s side we would say we couldn’t do it. But when we are on the Lord’s side then His love will prevail.

So how many are on the Lord’s side. His love is going to prevail over every situation; over everything. He said, “I will clean you up so you can be mine.” We think we’re going to struggle and clean up our life. Forget it! Just toss it over to Him and He will do a quick job of it. You may think you’re dying in the process; it’s alright, just die and let Him live. I know what it feels like. What a Savior. What a mighty God we serve today. We need to worship Him.
