At the end of 2018, beginning of 2019 I was mentoring two young ladies, using the Foundations of Faith curriculum, and I was able to do my first Baptism! I was also asked to guest speak at our Women’s Bible Study, which was such an honor! I also began teaching Sunday at the local church we attend, as well as be an usher and a chaplain. I helped with my first Vacation Bible School for the children and it was so much fun! It was amazing to see how I could use what I learned in teaching the curriculum and adapt it to teach the children. I found that one of the greatest challenges and rewards was learning how to simply yet effectively share the gospel with 4- and 5-year old’s.

I was able to go to the Philippines in May 2019, with Beth Say and her ministry Harvest Project as the photographer, videographer and overall support. I arrived for the last portion of the trip, which was the Family Camp for families with children or relatives who had various disabilities. After returning from the Philippines, I obtained a job at a department store, and have stepped back in my role as Sunday school teacher, for this season as I learn to balance outside work with my work at All Nations International. It’s been an amazing season of deeper learning, growth, and understanding that your call and role in His ministry is really wherever He has you.
